Wii Console Prices

As the console is hitting the “couple years old” mark, the prices are drastically dropping. You can find the Wii in stores these days for well under $300. For many people, especially in this economic crisis, that is even too much. No worries, because many people who have had the system for a while now are selling it, used, so you can get some pretty good bargains. With the PS3 available, some people want to give that a try, so they will be getting rid of their “beloved” Wii to try the PS3. These people will most likely give their Nintendo Wii away for far less than the average Wii console price. Look out for these bargains on your local trader websites (Craigslist is a good one).

There are many wholesalers of the Wii on websites such as eBay. You can find some great bargains on there for anything, and the Wii console prices are no different – whether it be used or new ones. You can also often find good packages, in which you will receive a couple of controllers and games with your purchase. Do not hesitate to look at these, as there is no difference in buying a used Wii for $200, compared to buying a new one for $300. If you can find a used one for less than the normal Wii console price, buy it! You will be getting the same thing, just for a cheaper price. Just one thing to be remember when buying a used console is that it has been in someone else’s household before yours. So, only they know what has happened to it. Before buying it, it would be a good idea to try it out and be sure it is fully functional, and they are not selling it to you at a price that it is not worth anymore. For example, maybe one of the controllers does not work, and they do not tell you this. Always test it out completely before committing.

Almost every electronic store offers Wii’s, and some are selling theirs at bargain prices. Look out for sales at stores near you, as I have seen quite a few outstanding deals. Yes, even large electronics stores sometimes do give things away at bargain prices, do not be surprised. The only thing with the bigger electronic stores is that you have to be fast. Others will find out about sales quickly, and it will be like a contest as to who gets their hands on the console first. As Wii console prices go down, certain stores run out of stock. Often it is hard to find the console in a store at a sale price, so if you do see a sale, hurry in as fast as possible.
