Wii Fit Review
Wii fans anticipated the release of the Wii Fit, awaiting something that they hoped would blow their mind. When released, the Wii Fit did just that, and impressed players more than they even imagined. Not only is the Wii Fit a game, but it also includes accessories such as a balance board, allowing you to do countless activities.
In simple terms, the balance board senses exactly where the user is on the board. If you lean back, it feels the weight shifting. It also senses when a user is wobbling very exactly. To put it in a few words, the balance board senses all your movements.
One of the most popular activities for the Fit is called the tree pose, where the player stands on one foot, with hands upwards (as seen in yoga classes). The game recognizes exactly how you are standing, even showing your steadiness. If the dot moves around a lot, it shows that you are not steady, and if you are balancing nearly perfectly, the red dot will not move.
Since the board has a scale in it, it can monitor your weight, how much it has increased, or how much it has decreased (it does every time it is used by you). Since you are required to input data such as your age & height, your Body Mass Index (BMI) will be indicated. Users are given tables/charts which show how much you exercised on a given day.
With the trainer option, users can even choose whether they have a male or female character. The trainer is used to show you how to perform the drill or activity. The trainer will explain to you what effect the exercise will have on you, and also how to do it correctly. Several views are shown in order to achieve optimal precision.
If you are looking for a truly unique workout experience, the Wii Fit is perfect. More and more people are having to deal with hectic schedules, and are not able to get to the gym to exercise, or go for a run outside. With the Wii Fit, you are exercising from the comfort of your home, and while having a blast!
