UFC Undisputed: 2009 Tips
UFC Undisputed: 2009, the first UFC game for the Xbox 360, was just recently released. It’s a great game, at least in my opinion, and the series has a lot of potential. It is not, however, easy. If you’re looking to master this game, check out the UFC Undisputed: 2009 tips below.
Learn the ground game!
This is my #1 tip, simply because I have seen so many people who are great standing up, but as soon as they’re taken down, they give up. In order to get good at this game, you simply MUST learn how the ground game works. To do this, I recommend first completing the entire tutorial. It takes about 25 minutes to complete, but it’s well worth it, and it gets you an achievement anyways. Once you have done the tutorial, try messing around with some friends, and just practicing techniques.
Don’t tire yourself out!
Another UFC Undisputed: 2009 tip is to never tire yourself out. If you do, you will be very susceptable to submissions. The first step is to go into options and change it so you have your stamina bar ON. This will make it easy to see how much energy you have. After that, just watch your bar.
Learn different techniques (Kickboxing, Judo, Muy Thai, etc)
Many people learn one or 2 techniques, and stick with it forever. It doesn’t work that way! UFC Undisputed is all about being flexible and adaptable. You NEED to learn how to use each fighting type. Learn the strengths of each, then decide which you like. Personally, I like kickboxing and Muy Thai. Kickboxing has incredibly hard-hitting head kicks, and Muy Thai has the brutal Muy Thai Clench, that can easily knock people out in just a few hits. But don’t take my word for it! Test out each class, and discover the strengths of each!
