Heavenly Sword is an epic title developed by Ninja Theory. It is a Ps3 Exclusive. The game has a stunning graphical set up, as well as soft backgrounds, gorgeous characters, and superior voice acting. The voice acting and game set up alone is enough to bring tears to your eyes, and fill your body with a rush of goose bumps or chills down your spine.  The surprisingly realistic facial animation adds extra emotion to the entire game. In addition to the aesthetic appeal of the game, it features incredible combat options; with martial art inspired combat styles. It was an immediate hit, but is still underrated by some gamers and critics alike.

Main Characters

Nariko is the primary character in this game, and is easily one of the prettiest characters throughout the plot. She was shunned for being female, and is protecting them with entire life. Despite their hatred towards her, she still does everything in her power to ensure that they are safe. Other characters are equally as emotional and the story line adds a deep and serious vibe. The game play and story primarily centers around Nariko, as well as her sister Kai. Other characters are also part of the overall story, but they are nowhere near as important as Nariko.

Gameplay Basics

Heavenly Sword doesn’t amplify any sort of graceful button mechanisms. It involves a lot of frantic button pushing, mixed with easy to understand basics. Stances and attacks are important, so it will take some getting used to. Different attacks include speed attack, power attack, and unblockable attack. Combinations of attacks work best.

The game is an overall win, and those that play this game end up enjoying it fully. The story and music blend together perfectly, as well as the graphics and complete layout.
