Ps3 Console
The Sony PlayStation 3 console is one of the most advanced gaming consoles on the market. Concidered by most to have the best graphic capabilities of any gaming platform, the PlayStation 3 console has many loyal fans.
If you’re looking for a high-spec video game console the Sony Playstation 3 could be just the thing for you. While it will cost you more than either the Wii or the Xbox 360, the Playstation 3 is stylishly designed and packed full of fabulous features.
Not least of these is the built-in Blu-Ray DVD player, which allows you to view games as well as movies in glorious high-definition. You also get more than 25GB of space for storing your own game creations. In terms of sheer power, the PS3 beats the competition hands-down with its massive 3.2GHz processor and choice of 20GB or 60GB hard drives.
This well-designed game console is big, black and shiny, with touch-sensitive buttons for a high-tech, classy look. The basic 20GB model doesn’t have WiFi or a media card reader, but is otherwise identical to its big brother.
The PS3’s new SixAxis controller is sure to be a hit. It is modeled on the popular Dualshock, but with brand-new six-direction motion-sensitivity that lets you control movement in new ways. You can use up to seven Bluetooth controllers with each console.
One great advantage of the Sony PS3 is its free online service. You can play multiplayer games and browse the web straight out of the box without paying extra or adding any software. You will be pleased to know that you can use it for all your old Playstation and PS2 games too.
The graphics on the Playstation 3 are second-to-none. If you have an HDTV, you can take advantage of the PS3’s 1080p HDMI output to get even better resolution. You will need to buy your own HDMI cable, though.
This is definitely the top-of-the-line in game consoles. If you value the power of the unit’s processor and the superior graphics you get with the Blu-Ray technology – and you have the cash to spare – then the PS3 will give you endless hours of sophisticated game-playing fun.
